Info

Threads of Interconnection is an AR-based storytelling project highlighting the urgent need for mycelium protection and ecological preservation. It merges Gond storytelling with science to emphasize the interconnectedness of life and aims to engage and influence younger generations through digital media. Developed in collaboration with the Gond community of artisans in India, the project draws on their deep-rooted beliefs in interconnectedness and interdependence, values that closely align with mycelium’s role as a natural network supporting forest life. A new Extended Reality (XR) chapter of the project is currently under development, exploring how immersive media can deepen our understanding of ecology, identity, and ancestral knowledge systems.
